With Covid-19 changing plans everyday, planning a wedding can be a nightmare. One minute it looks like everything can go as planned, and the next, local officials will not allow groups bigger than ten. It can be difficult to know what you can do while still trying to fulfill all your childhood dreams of everything your wedding would be. Perhaps the most difficult part is still involving family, while keeping them safe.

Videos of Family

If your family cannot be there physically, it can be a nice touch to have pictures of your family and friends! This could be done in a slideshow with pictures or even videos of family members giving advice for this momentous occasion. This would be perfect for the reception, or even just before you walk down the aisle. Either way, this will be a special video to hold on to for times beyond your wedding.

Picture Collages

Another option is to print out your favorite pictures and memories. You could set up a table or even put them up as place holders for your loved ones. Some brides have literally set up the pictures in the chairs where family would be. Others have set up tables and collages of lost loved ones. Either way is a beautiful option to remember family on your special day.

Rotating Guests

One way to still have a safe reception is to do a drop in reception. This way, you could assign people 20 minute time frame to come and see the bride and groom! They can drop off a present, snap a few pictures, but most importantly, still feel like a part of your special day. This is a way to still see everyone you want to, but keep the venue from being overcrowded with social distancing guidelines.

Masks for Guests

Another easy option to keep everyone safe is to offer masks for guests. These could even be themed or have a design. There are so many ways to get creative with masks and make it fit the theme of your wedding. Not too many people can say they got married during a pandemic, so you might as well embrace it and make a few memories along the way!
