We recently used the Grand America as a spot for our wedding party to get ready for the wedding and had a great experience. We had the Executive suite and was able to fit 8 bridesmaids, 6 Make up and Hair people and about 6 more friends and family. The room was a great size and the view was great! It was also very clean and everything was so beautiful.The only thing I would complain about and the reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is that I have stayed at this hotel about 5 times now and each time I get the worst sleep. The beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows are terrible. I really hope they upgrade to better mattresses and pillows. Ok so that is the only negative thing I have to say but other than that I loved it. We also ordered room service and the food was hot and delicious. When we were ready to check out, we called down for help and a bellman was at our door in minutes! Great Hotel and I would recommend this to anybody for a special event!
Used there dinner hall for my wedding it was the perfect size at the perfect price, there food was great and everyone enjoyed themselves. There dinner hall is already beautiful so not much decorating was needed.
The elegance was amazing and it was all a very classy experience. We were embraced with luxury the whole way, and we definitely were treated like royalty. I could not recommend this place enough! Nicole Rock is an amazing person to work with. She was the one who made the events in the Grand spectacular and smooth-running. I reminisce on that spectacular day every day. I deeply wish I could go back and experience is all over again! No changed whatsoever.
They actually came in closest to initial budget of all my vendors. There were no hidden charges. The set up was timely and perfect. The food was excellent, the room looked like a fairy tale, and the service was great. We used the Grand Salon and I would highly recommend it for 200 guest or less
