In 1965, The Brides’ Shop opened it’s doors; welcoming in the cities most discriminating brides. Word quickly spread and the shop became Salt Lake City’s premier bridal salon. Now, almost fifty years later, The Brides’ Shop is a sought out boutique throughout the nation and has helped brides from the U.K. to Brazil to Hong Kong.
It is our mission to create a memorable and intimate experience for every bride; providing her with trendsetting gowns and chic bridal accessories.
Offering exclusive in house alterations, a bride can customize her designer gown to fit the vision of her perfect day.
At The Brides’ Shop, we strive to provide our brides the best buying experience. To better prepare yourself with an appointment at our Shop, this is what we ask:
Come ready to say yes to your dress because dress availability changes daily
Bring 2-3 guests (we are a small boutique) and absolutely no children
Know your budget and your wedding date
We want to make this as easy and memorable as possible. It may seem like a lot, but we promise this appointment will be worth it.

I walked in with no expectation to buy a dress. I left with the dress of my dreams and it was well under my budget! Immediately when I walked in, I was greeted by Brooke and Kacie. I was so comfortable talking to Brooke about my budget and what I was looking for. She even pulled the dress that I ended up choosing! While I was trying dresses on, she was so experienced and knowledgeable about the different designers, patterns, materials, etc. and she helped me to categorize so that I could find the perfect dress for me. When Brooke would step into the back, Kacie was there to be 1. Emotional support which every bride needs and 2. Help me with my dress. I have never been so comfortable and felt such warmth from complete strangers before! Additionally, as a lesbian bride, it was really nice to go into a store without the associate making assumptions about the gender of my fiancée. I CAN NOT say enough great things about my experience. Whether you’re getting married in the temple or in the mountains, this place will have the dress for you and the knowledge and support to help you find it. Love you guys! I wish I could try on dresses with you forever!
Angela and Brooke were so kind and helpful. I told them what I was looking for and the first dress Angela picked was the one. It was an amazing experience. Good price. I did not go over budget. And I have found the absolute most gorgeous wedding dress. Wish I would have just came here first. You should definitely buy your dress here. You will not be disappointed!
