I had a lot of unique ideas for my wedding, from the flowers to omelet food stations and even a morning ceremony in a unique space. My event manager helped me achieve the exact flow I wanted within the budget we had. I would recommend Thanksgiving Point weddings to anyone who wants something special in Utah.
A girl anticipates what her wedding day will be like her whole life, so obviously there are high expectations. And in every way possible, it was the wedding of my dreams, thanks to Thanksgiving Point. This was a destination wedding of sorts, as my husband and I live in New York. Megan Saxton was basically my right hand woman for the four months leading up to the big day, answering my endless stream of questions and making adjustments to every detail, from the table settings to our vow line-up. She was a dream to work with. I’ll never forget walking into the venue on the day of the wedding, and actually gasping out loud. It was breath-taking. The sparkling lights and the grand tent in Italian-esque gardenhs, along with a cute photobooth VW we booked – everybody kept raving about the atmosphere. As for logistics, the staff was two steps ahead of me on everything the whole evening, moving things along and quietly directing us on everything from how to cut the cake to when to curtsy for a photo during the grand exit. It all came together so flawlessly, leaving room only for dancing, laughing, and many good tears. If you’re even debating between another venue, do yourself a favor and book this one!
We used Thanksgiving Point for our wedding and to say that it exceeded our expectations is an understatement! The venue was breathtaking, the service was phenomenal and the food was exquisite. Megan Saxton was our wedding coordinator and was amazing to work with. She was accommodating of all our requests and even made suggestions we hadn't thought of. She made sure everything was seamless on the day of and I was able to enjoy myself on our wedding day. I can truly say that it was the wedding of my dreams all thanks to Thanksgiving Point and the efforts of Megan!
The wedding planner coordinated the catering staff, the room set up, the cake decorator and our fairy godmother. This allowed us to simply enjoy the occasion! Our event was during Luminaria yet our guests had no trouble parking as the parking attendants directed them to spots close to our venue. The catering staff was efficient and kept the refreshments flowing throughout the evening. Our fairy godmother was lovely and incredibly helpful all evening! She kept the bride and groom comfortable with drinks and also helped the emcee know when it was time for specific announcements. She quietly directed the bride and groom when it was time to cut the cake or parade through the sparklers as they exited towards their car. Afterwards she helped load the gifts into our car for the couple. Having Luminaria in the background was a beautiful backdrop and impressed every guest! We appreciated the coordination with that event staff to accommodate the ring ceremony that allowed for the respectful atmosphere we desired. Luminaria staff waited to begin the music for their event until our ring ceremony had concluded. In summary, the wedding planner coordinated everything so beautifully that we had an absolutely perfect event! We highly recommend Thanksgiving Point for special events!
