    Dried Flowers for your Wedding

We are in love with the latest wedding trend: dried flowers! This new approach to florals is simply dreamy, and has the power to add so much more to your wedding. Whether you want to mix them with fresh flowers or opt to go all in, here are just a few benefits of using dried flowers for your wedding. When mixed into a fresh bouquet, dried grasses and flowers can add volume and texture that otherwise wouldn’t be achieved. The papery appearance and muted colors can soften a bright bouquet while also adding a subtle flair. Dried pampas grass is very popular because of how full and showy it is. Its fluffy, feathery look can make any setting feel whimsical, whether it’s an aisle, wedding arch, or the entrance of a church.  Along with their unique look, dried flowers have several convenient benefits. In many cases, they are cheaper than fresh flowers. They also last longer. There is no need to stress about preserving your wedding bouquet if it’s already been preserved for you! Dried flowers will look the same years down the road. It is also much easier to keep them looking nice on the wedding day during pictures, as there is no need to refrigerate them or store them in water. Just remember that they are delicate, so try not to let them get crushed while you’re hugging your family and friends! Beyond convenience, dried flowers are a better option for the environment. Sustainability is a common goal among brides these days, and rightfully so! Dried flowers require no water or refrigeration, and are overall more sustainable. Ask your florist if dried flowers are an option, and feel good about the decision when you do! Leave a comment and let us know if you decide to use dried flowers in your wedding. We’d love to see your creativity!
