First things first, when picking a venue, it’s important to consider location. If you are inviting a lot of guests, for example, you might consider picking a location that is easily accessible, or that doesn’t require a lot of traveling. This is especially important if you are planning on having two different locations for both the ceremony and reception. Trust us, your guests will be thanking you for not making them drive two hours to get from one place to the next. Also, speaking of driving, make sure that your venue has plenty of parking so that your guests aren’t stuck walking a marathon’s distance just to get there.

Usually, the style of your wedding can be customized to fit your preferences regardless of the venue. That being said, before getting your heart set on a certain location, make sure that your venue’s nonremovable décor doesn’t clash with your own personal style.
