The unique venues at the UMFA provide a dramatic setting for your wedding event. Contact the events coordinator to book your next event. Ask about our non-profit and combination rates.
Yes, this is a common wedding scenario. Your rental fee includes the service of our special events staff. Starting as early as two hours prior to your ceremony, our events staff will begin the setup for your wedding ceremony. After the ceremony, they will be on hand to transform the space for your reception. Depending on the intricacy of the floor plan and catering needs, this may take up to two hours.
To ensure a faster turnover, we recommend including gallery rental for an additional $200 security fee. This allows for clearing the Great Hall during the transition and creates a unique and memorable experience for your guests. You may also rent the café space for a post-ceremony cocktail hour. Contact the events coordinator for combination rate quotes.

UMFA was excellent to work with and a fantastic venue for our wedding. Our guests loved the space because the museum had something for everyone: kids, history buffs, fans of classical art, and fans of contemporary art alike. It really made the event memorable. Our photos also turned out beautifully because the galleries and event spaces are just lovely. The event coordinator (Erika) and event staff were incredibly professional and accommodating--especially considering that we had to dramatically change plans at the last minute! We also had to plan the wedding long distance (i.e. Via email and over the phone). Throughout the whole process, they really had a proactive attitude about making our wedding everything that we wanted and more.
The Utah Museum of Fine Arts was amazing. It was exactly what my husband and I dreamed of for our wedding. The staff and event coordinator were exceptional. The event coordinator went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect, she responded promptly to all of our emails and was willing to meet with us whenever we had questions or were trying to design the space. We had no idea how great the venue was going to be and we were so pleased at how it turned out. We couldn't have imagined anything more perfect!
