The Huntsville Mercantile is a newly restored historical 1890’s Mercantile turned wedding event center in the heart of historic Mayberry-like downtown Huntsville.
Reserve this lovely space for a memorable celebration such as wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, showers or parties. Suitable for a small party or up to 250 guests. Our new outdoor space will be available Sumer 2018 complete with walking paths, patios, dancing space, many picturesque photo spots and much more.
Your out of town guests can stay at our beautiful and historic 1872 mansion, The Valley House Inn, located a one minute walk down the street.
Our budget conscious guests love our open vendor policy. Our clients are welcome to use their own caterers and vendors, or choose from our preferred vendors.
Future plans include extensive landscaping outside, brick restoration, a new storefront to replicate the original 1890’s storefront, lodging, and much more.

We hosted our wedding - ceremony & reception - at the Huntsville Mercantile and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience or venue! First, the work and renovations that have been done to the building are fantastic- modern upgrades while also maintaining the integrity of the building and it’s history. Second, the space is perfect with a mix of indoor/outdoor space. You can customize it how you want/need but it also has plenty of charm as a stand alone and doesn’t need much extra to add to its charm. Third (and probably the most important), the owners are AMAZING to work with. Rick was always insanely fast to respond to any question - and also super accommodating to make what we wanted happen. Our wedding was in mid-April so weather was unpredictable and he helped us check the weather (since we were not “local” even tho we are from Ogden), and change the setup the day of. He offered advice and best practices to help us make the most of the space and our day/schedule. We couldn’t be happier with how the day turned out and owe a large part of it to the Huntsville Mercantile. We would definitely consider this venue for future events and highly recommend to others!

What a transformation. This is already a great space to hold any event. We can't wait to see what the outside renovations bring. I would recommend that anyone looking to hold an event in the area use Huntsville Mercantile. Truly an authentic, local historical setting. A real piece of valley history with a great feel and some of the best folks around to work with. Not to mention amazing deals and the bonus of a family owned business run by amazing people, refreshingly honest and with unquestionable integrity. You can't beat that.
We had the honor of hosting the first wedding luncheon and reception at the Huntsville Mercantile. It was amazing! The building is absolutely beautiful with the exposed brick and original wood floors. The owners went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for our big day. I highly recommend the Huntsville Mercantile for any special occasion!
