Located on Historic 25th Street of downtown Ogden, the Bigelow Hotel and Residences rose up in 1891 and became one of Utah’s few ‘grand hotels’ in the 1920’s– and grand it was indeed, in every possible way. Evidence of The Bigelow’s illustrious legacy can be found in the crystal chandeliers, marble floors, and decorative ceilings as you enter the lobby of this historic hotel, which is listed on both the Utah & National Historic Registers.

The Bigelow Hotel is centrally located for any type of travel, be it business, family, or recreation at some of the world’s best ski resorts and most beautiful lakes. Walk out the door right onto Ogden’s Historic 25th and all its endless shopping and entertainment. Our recently upgraded suites have aspects to especially suit the business traveler, and we are situated in the heart of Ogden’s Creative District where live music, galleries, performance art, and more thrive in a city already teeming with dining and theater.

The hotel has five event spaces that provide beautiful backdrops for weddings and parties. The Crystal Ballroom is perfect for receptions and ceremonies and has a maximum capacity of 350 guests. The Sunlit Room is lovely for wedding ceremonies and smaller receptions, maximum capacity 120 guests. The hotel’s other event spaces work well for bridal showers, wedding brunches and many other event space needs. Call and book this wonderful historic hotel for your event.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel filled with a great deal of history!

The locals seem to believe it’s haunted and if you read up on the history of Ogden it’s easy to believe!   Clean rooms, stunning decor, breakfast included, and the friendliest staff! Right next to a ton of cool dive bars too. At the front desk, Tanya checked us in and was very accommodating and helpful! Tammy checked us out and was a delight to talk to, very friendly! Wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Ogden!

It was so great to stay at the Bigelow Hotel!

They've taken a historical building and given it the modern touches without ruining the vibe. Walking into the lobby I felt like I should have been wearing a suit and fedora...so cool. The lighting and music in the lobby were warm and welcoming. Staff were helpful and accommodating, giving us special instructions to park our oversized vehicle. The room is more like a small apartment with a living room and bedroom. Views of the surrounding mountains, nice furnishings and a A+ complimentary breakfast made it such a pleasant stay. Thank you!

This hotel has tons of history and character like we have never seen.

This hotel reminded me of the setting of one of my favorite movies, the Grand Budapest. This is a massive property with beautiful architecture and art, located right in downtown Ogden. There is plenty of parking; we had no problem finding a spot for our Sprinter and trailer. The rooms are spacious and freshly remodeled; ours featured a king sized bed and a queen with a partition in the middle; some rooms even feature jaccuzis. The bathrooms feature a unique signature shampoo and soap which I dug. Our room had an excellent view of the mountains and city. The complimentary breakfast was next-level buffet style which featured hot items – bacon, French toast, eggs and hashbrowns. The property also has a hi-end restaurant that we’re going to give a try next time. This hotel was something different and fun; when visiting salt lake city we would drive out of the way for another stay. I’m already planning a leisurely return trip. A+
