The Hearthside is Eden’s oldest building and social venue. Erected in 1896 as an original LDS chapel, the Hearthside now serves as an event venue for weddings, receptions, parties, retreats, community events, music and art shows. We have an outdoor garden entertaining area as well as a stage/pergola. No matter the time of year the Hearthside offers a picturesque and budget friendly space for your weddings, reception, luncheon or open house.

Venue Rental – Reserve the banquet hall, chapel, and grounds for your wedding or reception. Bring in your own vendors, or let us help you find the perfect wedding professionals.

Event Rentals – Explore our collection of wedding rental items to fit a wide variety of event needs at affordable prices. There’s no minimum order quantities, fast quotes, and top notch delivery services.

Highly recommend using Hearthside Reception Center!

Had a luncheon and reception for my wedding at the Hearthside! I was extremely pleased with the service! I loved renting from their decor! They had so many options! My luncheon was in the beautiful Banquet Hall then had our reception outside in the backyard. Landscaping is beautiful and so many fun features! Highly recommend using this venue.

Hearthside Reception Center was phenomenal!

I cannot say enough good things about working with Ruth and the staff at the Hearthside. They made everything easy and kept me a very relaxed bride. They are very creative and did an awesome job with the centerpieces. We left them a lot of room to get creative with flowers etc and they knocked it out of the park. They are super easy to work with and extremely flexible. The venue was phenomenal! We had an outdoor wedding in the fall and man, the place was perfect. The grounds are great and they have plenty of decor to help set your event off. The newly renovated chapel is stunning! So glad I had my wedding here. They worked with all of our vendors so nicely and everything was great. Thanks for a great wedding Hearthside!

All our friends and family loved the setting at Hearthside Reception Center!

We had a wedding open house at the Hearthside. Not only were the food and accommodations excellent, but all our friends and family loved the setting in the Ogden Valley.

I absolutely loved the setting for the reception in the garden area at Hearthside Reception Center.

My daughter had her wedding at the Hearthside just 2 weeks ago. I absolutely loved the setting for the reception in the garden area. So peaceful and beautiful! The lighting gave such a nice touch to the mood and the pavilion was great for dancing. We chose a simple plan for refreshments with ice cream sundaes and they gave so many wonderful suggestions and added extra touches to make it fun and creative. The day couldn't have been better! They were so helpful and flexible and accommodating. Thank you!
