The who, what, where and how of planning your wedding is stressful. We get it, that Pinterest board you created when you were thirteen needs a bit of a push to become a reality. But where on earth do you start?
Well, this week’s #WeddingTipWednesday has just the solution for you!
Utah Bridal shows are a great resource for soon-to-be brides to make wedding planning easier and more effective. Not to mention all of the time, stress, and money you will save along the way. (You’re welcome groom!)
1. You will gather valuable information about how to begin the planning process.
Find everything you need in one place. From the cutsie wedding invites to that dress that makes you look like a snack, you can check every box off that mile long To-Do list.
2. Talk with wedding professionals and ask questions!
No one wants an amateur looking wedding. We want the guests to be dazzled when they walk in through those doors. Asking questions will help you to know what you do and don’t want/need for your big day. Don’t know how to start? ASK A PRO. Don’t know which hairstyle will make your fiancé fall in love with you again? ASK A PRO. Don’t know which shade of white fits your complexion best? ASK A PRO. The pros know it all.
3. Try samples of all sorts of yummy treats!
Yes, the dress is important. And the music. And the flowers. But, what about the FOOD? Should you have a simple donut bar at the reception or an elegant chocolate fountain? So many options, why not let your tastebuds decide? (And on top of that, who doesn’t love free samples?!)
4. Check discounts and compare prices!
We promised that you would save money didn’t we? No one is gonna sugar coat it. Weddings are EXPENSIVE. (If you want them to be.) However, bridal shows are there to be your wallet’s saving grace. Find out what to spend the most money on and what you really shouldn’t be dumping your savings into. Most show vendors offer a very nice discount when you book at the show – or soon after. Come to the show prepared to book when you find a vendor you like.
5. FREE STUFF!!! (Enough said.)
Trust us. This is a friend you are going to want to have.
